Three years ago I started hunting with dogs when i met my boyfriend Daymen. I remember the first time I went hunting with him and I instantly fell in love with this sport. We finally got our own dogs and I decided that i wanted to start field trialing and get my own dog to hunt. I remember our first hunt and my dog got her name called and i was so excited to see our hard work paying off. They are more than just animals to me-they are family. The bond between a person and a good hound is something that can't truly be explained unless you've experienced it yourself. My faith reminds me to stay humble in success, thankful during the good times, and faithful through the difficult ones. It has taught me that every blessing comes from him. Daymen and I put so much time into our dogs from raising puppies, running them for the first time and watching them do their job it makes both of us proud. We hope that one day down the road when we have our own family that we will continue this tradition and have our kids grow up outside just like we did. I have made so many memories, and met so many amazing people. I couldn't be more grateful for this life god has blessed me with and don't forget brindles to the front!!
